Professionally, I am first and foremost a graphic designer. Having started in the print realm, before web was even introduced into college curricula (and dinosaurs still roamed the earth), I've evolved my career through the years into one that focuses on the web side of design. Along the way, I've added a number of other tricks to my repertoire, including hand-written, standards-based, front-end development, information architecture, user interface design, competitive research, even writing, marketing conceptualization, project management and speaking (though that still makes me a little nervous). My client list ranges from singer/songwriters to non-profits to multi-million dollar corporations, and I love taking on a vast array of different projects because it's a wonderful way to learn about things I wouldn't normally learn about (like wideplank hardwood floors... who knew there was so much to learn?!).
In my free time, I enjoy surfing balmy, tropical locations such as Northern California and Southern New Jersey. I also love to run, knit, travel, and I'm even certified to teach Pilates.
